What we do

Heritage Church exists to help people realize their God-given potential in order to pass it on to others.  As followers of Jesus, we value authenticity, growth, relationships, service, and wholeness, and most of all, unconditional love. We are big on grace. We try our best to never judge, condescend, or teach hate or bigotry.  We exist to make followers of Jesus who make followers of Jesus. We believe everyone is made in the image of God.  Everyone has something to share.  Everyone has potential. Let us help you reach yours.

What we Believe

We Believe in One God:
(Deuteronomy 6:4,  Isaiah 45:5-6,  John 17:3,  1 Corinthians 8:4-6, 1 Timothy 2:5)
That this “One God” is triune (Father, Son, Holy Spirit):
(Genesis 1:26; Psalms: 45:6-7;  Matthew 3:13-17;  Matthew 28:17-20;  1 Corinthians 12:4-6)
That the Scripture's (Bible) are true, authoritative,  and living:
(Psalms 19:7-11;  2 Timothy 3:16;  2 Peter 1:20-21)
That every human is born a sinner and is in need of the Grace that God alone can supply:
(Genesis 6:5;  Romans 3:23,  5:8, 12:21, 7:18;  Ephesians 2:1-3)
That Jesus Christ is the Son of God, was born of a virgin, and is both fully God and fully man:
(Matthew 1:20;  Luke 2:52;  John 1:1-4;  Colossians 1”15-20;  Hebrews 1:1-3)
That Jesus Christ died as our substitute to pay for our sins:
(John 1:29; 10:1-18;  Romans 5:8; 1 Corinthians 15:1-4; Galatians 1:4; 1 Peter 3:18)
That Jesus Christ physically rose from the dead!
(Matthew 28:1-20; Mark 16:1-8; Luke 24:1-53; John 1:20-21,25; 1 Corinthians 15:12-34)
That Jesus Christ physically ascended into heaven:
(John 14:3; Acts 1:11;  1 Thessalonians 4:16;  Hebrews 9:38; 1 John 3:2;  Revelation 1:7)
That those who trust in Christ alone will live in eternity with Him (Heaven).
(Matthew 25:31-46;  Romans 6:23  John 5:28-29;  Acts 24:15)
That by trusting in Jesus alone I can be redeemed, restored, and reconciled to God and can experience life to the full and joy here on earth:
(John 10:10; 14:6; Acts 4:12; Romans 3:21-26; 1 Timothy 2:5-6; 2 Corinthians 5:18)

That we receive the gift of the Holy Spirit as a promise and a source of guidance, giftedness, and power in this world:
(John 14:26; Mark 13:11; Acts 2:38; Romans 5:5; 1 Corinthians 6:19; Hebrews 2:4)

That we are shown grace in order to become agents of grace in this world:
(Ephesians 2:10; Matthew 6:19; Philippians 2:12-13)
